You would, of course, expect to find the complete line up of Yamaha four-stroke outboard engines when you visit the Yamaha UK stand in the giant South Hall at Londonís ExCel, but you might just be surprised to also discover a wide selection of trailerable Yamaha outboard powered boats on display up to 7.8m length, a stunning 600hp, 30í Sessa as the centre-piece, plus WaveRunner personal watercraft, RIB tenders and watersports equipment, inflatable tow toys and accessories on the stand.

The Yamaha stand is truly a one stop shop of all that's best in power boating. With no less than thirty different outboard models on show from our award winning, portable 2.5hp model to our flagship 5.3litre, V8 powerplant, giving 350hp, you will find the perfect engine for your needs, whether you are looking for something to power your tender, RIB, sportsboat or high powered offshore craft.

The latest F70, F115, and V6 F225, F250 and F300 outboards are on show and to complete the engine line-up are the Yamaha E-drive motors which are electrically powered for small boat use. Complementing the smaller portable outboards is a range of Ribeye RIB tenders featuring the latest in lightweight epoxy powder-coated aluminum hulls.

New Yamaha products
Making its first appearance at the London Boat Show is the new F115AET model, delivering 115hp from its DOHC, 1741cc, 4-cylinder engine. Now fitted with the latest computer controlled single throttle valve this new model is lighter, faster and more economic than itís renowned predecessor which is currently in service with the RNLI on their fleet of Atlantic 85 inshore rescue boats.

Amongst the many other outboard models on show are four engines that really turned their classes upside down when they were introduced in 2011, boasting the best power-to-weight ratios in each of their horsepower categories. The new F70 is a one litre, four cylinder unit weighing little more than most 60hp engines. Its innovative four-valve-per-cylinder single overhead camshaft design is compact and efficient. In recent UK tests the F70 performed almost as well as an 80hp engine yet returned greater fuel economy, while its compact size and low weight improved the boats balance and handling.

Undisputed kings of the high performance class though are the three new V6, 4.2 litre lightweight engines in F300, F250 and F225 sizes. Bristling with new technology these units are lighter than their predecessors yet offer bigger cylinder displacement and increased performance. Importantly too the weight saving has been made at the top of the engine lowering the engines centre of gravity. For lovers of performance outboards these new models redefine the rules for large outboard design.

And with Y-COP remote security immobilisers fitted to most models as standard, plus a 5 Year Warranty program on all new Yamaha outboards* and FREE Rigging parts on engines of 30hp and over, plus FREE RNLI Offshore membership with every engine thereís never been a better time to come and talk to the experts about your engine requirements.

The World of Yamaha Marine - just some of the boats on display
Centre stage of the Yamaha stand is the range of Yamarin sportsboats from Finland. Yamaha UK are the official importer and distributors of this high quality range of craft and will show five different styles from the comprehensive 24 model Yamarin range.
Two new 2012 models make their UK debut with the new 63 Day Cruiser cuddy cabin sportsboat and the launch of the revolutionary Yamarin Cross range with the Cross 53 Bow Rider on show. This amazing craft combines a GRP upper section and decks with an aluminum hull combining the best attributes of each type of construction.
The performance and quality of the Yamarins must be seen to be believed and these craft are set to win the hearts of many UK boaters.

Ribeye aluminum hull RIB tenders
The Yamaha stand also features a range of smaller, aluminum hull RIBs from Ribeye. Available in a wide choice of different lengths and layouts these incredibly tough boats really will amaze with their super light weight and high specification. In many ways aluminum is the perfect material for a small tender or RIB and offers a real alternative to a GRP hull or hard floor inflatable being lighter to lift and suitable for small davits and boarding platforms.

WaveRunner Personal Water Craft
Two new 2012 models head-up the WaveRunner display at London this year with the UK launch of the all new FX SHO and FX Cruiser HO models. New hulls, 1800cc engines and true three seat capacity make these new Waverunners a perfect choice for those looking for performance, comfort and handling.

The highlight of the personal watercraft display is the 50th Anniversary Limited Edition VXR pure sports. Its unique colour scheme is based closely on 2011 Moto GP World Champion, Jorge Lorenzoís race bike which ran these classic Yamaha colours to commemorate this special anniversary celebrating half a century of motorcycle grand prix participation for Yamaha.
