[Junior Ribsters]

Junior RIBsters are proud to announce that Steven Curtis has climbed aboard.

Steven is an extremely experienced chap who has won the RYA Youth Rib Championship twice.

Our aim is to work with Steven and promote safe boating for youngsters.

Jon Geddes, founder of Junior RIBsters, started at a similar age to Steven and is now a fully qualified RYA advanced powerboat instructor, VHF assessor, Yachtmaster Instructor, First aid instructor, MCA Yachtmaster offshore and is about to sit his 200gt Captains exams in April 2010.

We hope that Steven will follow in Jon's footsteps and that Junior RIBsters can help him with this.

Over the Last 2 years Junior RIBsters has acheived alot and now has over 300 youngsters on their books all eager to learn more.

We have an experienced team consisting of all ages hoping to get more youngsters into powerboating safely.

Over the last 6 months it would appear that we have been fairly quiet, we can assure you that this is good. We have lots of plans and will soon be announcing new dates for events and training throughout the UK.

One of our main targets at the moment is the 2012 olympics. We hope to be providing a team of capable young safety boat crews and helms... Keep watching as there will be lots happening soon.
